ABOUT BLUE WATER:

This is the largest hydro desalination clean water production piped to land.

It will provide and estimated 20,000 jobs in manufacturing and construction over a 10 year period with residual long-term employment and other multiple benefits including a new road crossing of the channel.

Cycles per day renewable energy reef operating virtually 24/7 to provide electric energy for millions of UK homes and industry.

The scale of the project is likely to involve a multinational approach with UK design and project management utilizing French,  German, and Dutch expertise with the on-site construction being supported by American and Chinese companies.

It is anticipated that full funding will be provided privately through Middle East and Chinese sources.

Blue Water Reef will provide clean electric output in excess of current large nuclear plants over a far greater lifespan and without the inherent risks associated with possible nuclear fallout and the incredibly long-term safe storage facilities that are required for the treatment of nuclear waste.

The Bristol Channel tidal race provided by the high tidal rise and fall is the most powerful commercial tidal resource available in the world! The Blue Water Reef development will harness this massive tidal energy forge to generate low-cost electric power for 'Tomorrow's World'.

Electric generation using high technology variable pitch turbines will commence when approximately 25% of the structure is built to provide early cash flow for the project and ease the overall funding requirements.

Advanced technology solar receptors and smaller-bladed wind turbines will add low-cost high-output renewable power into the national grid all without atmospheric pollution with only marginal effects on the environment and deigned throughout to protect local fish species, birds and other wildlife.

Blue Water Reef will allow the natural coastal environments to remain intact both protect the quality and biodiversity along this heritage coastline and to maintain the amenity value for visitors to the area.

Blue Water Reef has been developed by its South Wales designers over the last 25 year to include cleaning of the ling-term contaminated water in the channel that dates back many years ti the heavy industrial age. It will also generate low-cost energy to replace the closing coal-fired power station at Aberthaw; all in line with Kyoto Protocol and the Paris agreement.

Today's advancing technology is suited ti this commercial high powered renewable energy reef and now is the time to take the project forward to construction - at this time when it is needed to replace ageing traditional power stations and to meet the Brexit process with confidence.

The tidal resources is a gift to nature. We must use the great natural power of the Bristol Channel but leave the heart for the future generations.
